If you are writing a fic for me...
Pairings.
Snape/Harry. Snape/Lupin. Snape/Harry/Lupin or Snape/Harry/Draco 3-some. Snape plus another male character, basically, I've read some Snape/Bill, Snape/Charlie and Snape/Draco and even Snape/Hermione that I liked. I just like SNAPE, ok? Ok. As long as he is in character, that is.
Kinks.
Nothing too violent or extreme. Prefer characterisation and plot to smut for the sake of it. I like romance but not too fluffy. UST, hurt/comfort, flirtation, redemption, Polyjuice, three-some, hopeful, happy or ambiguous endings, obsession, jealousy, infidelity, friendships and friends' reactions to the relationship, voyeurism. Also humour, sarcasm & wit, magical rituals and devices, the whole Wizarding World. If done well, I enjoy mpreg, forced bonding, slow seduction, evolving relationships, learning to trust one another. I like sarcastic Snape and strong, grown-up Harry. First time, older virgin character discovering sex. I don't mind a het partnership as part of the story (Ron & Hermione, Albus & Minerva, Remus & Tonks, Bill & Fleur) as long as they are not the main focus. Vampires, magical creatures, animagus forms, magical toys, mild bondage, food smut, Slytherin cunning, semi-public sex, coming out to friends, clever twisting plots are all ok with me. I don't mind who tops, as long as the relationship is well-balanced. If AU, don't lose the magic, please!

Chan - a big squick, so if the fic takes place at Hogwarts, Harry had better be in his final year or come back to teach. I hate a stronger character bullying a younger/weaker character (unless as a plot device where one of our heroes has to rescue the other eg from captivity), rape, non-con, hate sex, suicide, extreme fluff & soppy characters, cross-overs, dystopia, very dark fic, heavy angst without a satisfying resolution, feminised girly male characters (hate that!) cross dressing, heavy bondage, water sports, blood-play, breath-play, scat, incest. I don't like non-magical AU (what's the point?) or time travel unless exceptionally well done. If mpreg, don't turn a male into a female. Marauder-era fics. Anyone completely OOC squicks me - for example, you could make Draco change sides but he's still a spoiled Slytherin brat at heart. Snape will never be a fluffy bunny and Harry will not start sobbing and turn all girly. Otherwise you'll upset me!
